The Swiss Dolorclast Power Handle Has Arrived
Sydney Physio Clinic is happy to announce that we now have the Swiss Dolorclast Power handpiece available at the clinic. This new radial shockwave therapy power handpiece is perfect for the treatment of complaints requiring higher energy and target tissues at greater depths.
More Effective Radial Shockwave Therapy Treatment At No Extra Cost
At Sydney Physio Clinic there is no additional surcharge for shockwave therapy and treatment using our new Swiss Dolorclast Power handpiece is no different. Most clinics charge an additional fee for shockwave treatment but at Sydney Physio Clinic we see shockwave therapy as another string to our bow and comes in under the general blanket of physiotherapy. Following consultation and discussion with our patients if shockwave therapy is agreed on as the appropriate course of action then it is performed as part of the session with no additional charge unlike the majority of practices offering shockwave treatment.
How Does The Swiss Dolorclast Power Handle Work?
Shockwave therapy uses a precisely controlled compressed air pulse to drive a projectile in the handpiece which is accelerated to high speed and as the projectile strikes the applicator in the handpiece, it generates low to high-energy shockwaves to be transmitted to the designated treatment area.
The Swiss Dolorclast Power handpiece extends the range of radial shockwave treatment applications due to higher energy and greater depth of penetration. Achieved through a modified design, the size of projectile and an adjusted projectile travel distance, as well as new applicators account for higher energy flux density.
Benefits Of Using The Dolorclast Shockwave Therapy Power Handpiece

- Offers an expanded range of applications with five different applicators for a variety of indications.
- Generates low and high-energy shockwaves (with a range of 0.01 – 0.55 mJ/mm2)
- Optimizes penetration depth of treatment.
