Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) care planning items were removed from the Medicare Benefits Schedule in 2005 and replaced by the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) items. The Chronic Disease Management GP services on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) enable GPs to plan and coordinate the health care of patients with chronic or terminal medical conditions, a chronic medical condition is one that has been (or is likely to be) present for six months or longer including musculoskeletal conditions. At the discretion of your doctor, chronic musculoskeletal conditions can be referred under CDM scheme for physiotherapy services allowing for a maximum of 5 medicare subsidised physiotherapy treatments within one calendar year. Sydney Physio Clinic does not bulk bill CDM services but happy treat patients under the CDM scheme allow patients to access thier Medicare rebate.

Motor Accidents Authority Scheme NSW

The Motor Vehicles (Third Party Insurance) Act 1942 introduced the first compulsory third party (CTP) personal injury insurance scheme to New South Wales. Since then multiple reforms and enhancements to the scheme have aimed at encouraging early and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation to injured people as well as providing greater access to benefits for injured people. When Claiming under the Motor Accidents Authority Scheme Sydney Physio Clinic will bill your insurer directly once we have confirmation of a valid claim number. All our physiotherapists are approved to treat patients under the CTP scheme.

UNSW Football Club

UNSW – The University Of New South Wales Football Club

UNSW Football Club was formed in 1948 under the then Sydney Technical College Sports Association. The Football Club has a rich heritage, competing at the highest levels in Football New South Wales (FNSW) Federation and State League competitions since 1959. UNSW Football Club also fields multiple teams in the Eastern suburbs football competition and as well as this UNSW FC provides an elite female football path in the Eastern Suburbs with the UNSW Lions competing in Football NSW National State League Women’s competition. UNSW FC home ground “David Phillips” is a first-class sporting facility boasting a turf as well as a dedicated synthetic-grass football pitch. Sydney Physio Clinic is proudly associated with UNSW FC and regularly attends training sessions and games at “David Phillips” as well as offering a special rate for registered UNSW Footballers as part of our Sydney Physio Clinic associates scheme.
