What is the Evenup Shoe Balancer?

The Evenup Shoe Balancer is an innovative over shoe designed orthotic shoe lift. It was originally developed by two Podiatrists in Ft Myers, Florida. This device can effectively compensate for short and longer term leg length changes. Such short term leg length changes exist while wearing an ankle walker, plaster cast, or post-op shoe. Often a prescribed orthopedic device following foot and ankle injury, or surgery.

Why would I use an shoe balancer?

Ankle walker, moon boot sole height is typically greater than the sole height of any of your regular shoes. When prescribed the use of a Post-Op Shoe, Post_Surgical Shoe, Moon boot… for an extended period then this sole height discrepancy will give you a temporary leg length discrepancy. The use of an Evenup Shoe Balancer worn on the other leg and easily fitted over your existing shoe. This can go a long way to helping solve the leg length problem. Subsequently this will undoubtedly assist in helping avoid the complication of back, hip, or knee stress. Pains that often come about when walking around unbalanced due to acquired leg length issues caused via the moon boot, or post-op shoe. By leveling the opposite shoe with the Evenup Shoe Balancer you now walk on an even platform, reducing body strain.

Why would I use an Evenup Shoe Balancer?

The use of an Evenup is ideal in situations where you’re likely to be spending weeks in a moon boot, or post op shoe. This often occurs following injury, or surgery. We recommend anyone using a boot for greater than 10 days, to consider purchasing the Evenup Shoe Balancer. Even more so, if that individual has any pre-existing issues with their back, hip or knees… Issues they feel limping around for days, to weeks may aggravate.

Is an Evenup adjustable?

While wearing a moon boot, you may notice a difference in height when comparing the healthy leg in a shoe, to that of the injured leg. This means your pelvis is in a tilted position. When tilted like this is sustained for an extended period of time, it can lead to the onset of new pains. Including pains in the back, hips and the knees. The Evenup Shoe Balancer has a removable lining to provide either 1.3cm or a 2.6cm shoe raise. An amount specifically designed to make it equal to that of a walking boot. As well as being adjustable relative to the sole height of the shoe being worn on the non affected side.

Clinical Indications for the use of the Evenup Shoe Balancer

The Evenup Shoe Balancer is specifically designed to compensate for temporary leg length discrepancy associated when wearing a CAM Walker, Moon Boot or Post-Op Shoe. And Works to reduce body strain while spending extended periods in a Post-Surgical shoe or walker.
Evenup can also be used to compensate leg length discrepancy resulting from substantial difference in actual leg length. However, we would recommend you are specifically prescribed this approach by your treating medical practitioner. And not to purchase an Evenup Shoe Balancer to correct any anatomical leg length issues unless specifically advised by your treating doctor.

2. Download the return form and include it with your return. Return shipping is the customers responsibility and a tracking code must be emailed to us / record kept of receipt with tracking.

3. For a full credit to be granted for your item, it must be returned within 30 days of invoice date, in original packaging/saleable condition without markings or any tampering of original product.

Note: We are not responsible for any returned goods lost in transit. If a return is received after 30 days without consent, a 15% restocking fee applies and only a credit note will be given for the return. If the return is damaged in any way including packaging it will not be salable and an invoice will be charged for full fee of product plus 15% admin fee charged payable within 14 days.

2. A return label will be emailed to you to return back at no charge for faulty items.

3. A replacement depending on availability, refund or a credit will be issued on your account upon arrival of goods in our warehouse and approval of return.

Note: No returns will be accepted after 30 days unless the item is faulty and under warranty. No returns or exchanges on items that are used, unless exhibiting a genuine manufacturing fault.
