How To Use The Hand Strength Trainer:
Grip strength has been shown in several studies to be directly correlated to longevity. There are dozens of muscles directly impacting the function of your wrist and hand. With nine muscles that are engaged when closing the hand. And also nine involved in the opening of the hand and fingers.
The main exercise when using the hand strength trainer is:
- Squeeze against the strength trainer ball for one second.
- Open & spread fingers against the resistance of the strength trainer cord. Hold for one second.
- Repeat these movements until you have reached a comfortable level of muscle fatigue.
If you experience pain with the above, or are using the hand strength trainer to manage an existing problem, rather than simply building hand strength. We suggest seeking advice from your Physiotherapist regarding use, prior to embarking on an exercise regime.
