A post surgical shoe also known as a Post-Op Shoe is a medical shoe used to protect the foot and toes after surgery or injury. It is a rigid sole shoe, or hard sole shoe that is sometimes built with a rocker style base. And looks like on oversized shoe with a flat, hard sole. The ProCare Squared Toe Post-Op Shoe comes with fabric sides, and adjustable Velcro straps.

How do you walk when wearing a Post-Surgical Shoe?

People often feel that they need to walk flat footed. However if they are allowed to weight-bear on their foot, then we suggest the try to roll from heel to toe. This usually feels more comfortable for them and is a more normal gait pattern. And therefore walking this way is less likely to cause new pains from compensatory movement patterns in the knees and hips. The straps should be tightened until firm, but make sure they are comfortable, and not to tight. However tight enough to make sure that your foot doesn’t slip around in the shoe. The use of a post Surgical shoe for extended periods of time can cause compensatory aches in pains. Causing pain in neighboring joints, as well as pain in the other supporting leg. If you have been prescribed to wear a Procare Post-Op shoe for an extended period. And for clarity I would define that greater than 10 days qualifies as an extended period, we would suggest purchasing the EvenUp shoe leveler to go with it. The EvenUp is worn on the opposite side to the Post-Surgical shoe. This will enable easier, as well as more comfortable movement and reduce the likelihood of any other associated aches and pains. Pains that commonly come about as a result of persistent “limping” movement patterns.

Steps To Complete A Return With 30 days:

2. Download the return form and include it with your return. Return shipping is the customers responsibility and a tracking code must be emailed to us / record kept of receipt with tracking.

3. For a full credit to be granted for your item, it must be returned within 30 days of invoice date, in original packaging/saleable condition without markings or any tampering of original product.

Note: We are not responsible for any returned goods lost in transit. If a return is received after 30 days without consent, a 15% restocking fee applies and only a credit note will be given for the return. If the return is damaged in any way including packaging it will not be salable and an invoice will be charged for full fee of product plus 15% admin fee charged payable within 14 days.

Steps To Return A Faulty Item:

1. Read below to ensure you qualify and email us within 14 days of invoice date info @ sydneyphysioclinic.com.au. Includes photos and full details of fault/damages as these will be sent to the manufacturer for approval.

2. A return label will be emailed to you to return back at no charge for faulty items.

3. A replacement depending on availability, refund or a credit will be issued on your account upon arrival of goods in our warehouse and approval of return.

Note: No returns will be accepted after 30 days unless the item is faulty and under warranty. No returns or exchanges on items that are used, unless exhibiting a genuine manufacturing fault.
